We have four sites based around Milton Keynes and Peterborough, with plans to expand to Bedford in the next two years.

We currently employ around 480 people and provide care services to up to 180 residents. We have a very diverse workforce.

We are looking for an Estates Manager to assume overall responsibility for the operational delivery of facilities and support services at our Milton Keynes Care Centres. You will need to ensure that all sites are well maintained, fit for purpose and fully compliant within applicable regulations and standards.

This is an active and visible operational role requiring confidence of establishing and delivering good, People management, Budget management, Health & Safety management, Project Liaison & Contract management, carrying out regular audits of site to ensure systems and practices are maintained.

You will be required to have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of Facilities Management, at least 1-year management of a multi-disciplined team and hold a relevant facilities Management qualification e.g. BIFM Level 3 and IOSH Safety certificate.

Your duties will include the reviewing and prioritising of planned and unplanned maintenance, whilst keeping abreast of all regulatory bodies including CQC, HSE, Fire & Local Council. You will have knowledge of COSHH regulations and have experience of basic Health & Safety including Infection Control, Lifting & Handling.
