The owners of P J Care Ltd are Peter and Jan Flawn. Jan Flawn is the Managing Director of the Company who, as well as being a Registered Nurse, holds a degree in management.

“In my role as general manager, I oversee the operational and clinical care for PJ Care Ltd. I am responsible for implementing and reviewing all clinical policies to ensure that the company’s Quality Strategy is maintained. I also provide support and supervision to our home managers and allied health professionals.”

Business & Finance Manager
“I manage PJ Care’s Finance Department, I run the accounts, payroll, PAYE and make sure we meet all statutory requirements as well as managing the general administration of the head office and supporting the Board of Directors.”

“As manager of 12 training, the training division of PJ Care Ltd, I oversee our training needs in all areas of care provision, including Health and Safety, Infection Control, Food Hygiene and NVQs. I also ensure that all PJ Care’s staff are fully trained and are qualified to provide the highest standards of care.”

I ensure optimum security, serviceability and health and safety requirements are enforced at all times. I also implement our Health and Safety Policies and Procedures in compliance with all legislation.”

“As Registered Manager for Mallard House Nursing Home, I am responsible for the day to day care of all our residents. I ensure that the units of Brunel and Oakley meet the high standards of quality that PJ Care Ltd have set, providing our residents with the best possible quality of care.”

“I am responsible for managing all of PJ Care Ltd’s kitchens, ensuring that the residents’ nutritional and dietary needs are met with varied menus, using fresh GM free ingredients. Part of my role is to ensure that the kitchens meet all statutory requirements.”

“With responsibility for PJ Care’s housekeeping and laundry services, together with my team, I provide each PJ Care Home with a laundry and linen service, as well as ensuring that high standards of cleanliness are always met.”
