Each of our homes is purpose built and designed to provide an environment that is:

safe, but allowing free movement within designated areas, e.g. gardens
larger than average bedrooms (all en-suite) opening on to spacious communal areas with wide short corridors
varied, with multi-use areas for activities, therapies, family/friends visits, dining and celebrations
therapeutic – landscaped gardens created to suit a variety of physical and mental health needs, e.g. sensory and stimulating plants, no thorns, edible foliage, lots of pacing areas.

Personalised Environment

Residents are encouraged to make their rooms homely and also actively work with us to enhance the day areas including choice of furniture, entertainment technology (TVs, play consoles, karaoke) as well as decoration and accessories.

In addition to basic requirements, specialist equipment is also assessed and sourced dependant on residents needs.

Location

Bluebirds and Mallard House are in the heart of the Milton Keynes community, giving ready access to shops, leisure facilities and public transport. This makes it easy for family and friends to visit and also works well with our residents’ activities programmes.

Eagle Wood our new neurological care campus is in the heart of Peterborough and will have a large therapy centre with a gymnasium, hydrotherapy pool, coffee dock and occupational therapy kitchen.
