P J Care Ltd is a family run company owned by Peter and Jan Flawn. Our three care homes Bluebirds, Oakley and Brunel provide specialist nursing care to adults aged 18 to 65 who have complex health care needs such as dementia, brain injury and cognitive impairment.

 

All our care homes are specially designed and purpose-built using the latest environmental research. We have taken into account recommendations from experienced health professionals to meet the regulations and standards of the Care Standards Act 2000.

Our three care homes: Bluebirds, Oakley Unit, Mallard House and Brunel Unit, Mallard House are all purpose-built secure, safe and homely environments. 

 

We are committed to ensuring that our residents are cared for as individuals with respect and dignity, we pay full attention to individual social, cultural and spiritual well-being and encouraging our residents to enjoy their lives and to live as independently as possible.

 

At a PJ Care Home residents will receive the highest quality ongoing care tailored to their individual needs, whether it is 24 hour nursing care, therapy assessments/treatments, respite care or day/night care.  

 

Dedicated and highly motivated staff provide a variety of therapeutic programmes and activities which reflect our residents’personal hobbies and interests. All our homes are established close to local amenities and are integral parts of the local communities.

 

Carers, families and friends are always encouraged to be actively involved in a resident’s care and to join our support groups. We feel very strongly that our residents should experience the best quality of life and demonstrate this through our compassion and commitment to their personal care, while maintaining respect for each individual’s privacy and dignity.

 

Every person in our care will receive regular physical and mental health assessments from qualified practitioners and appropriately skilled staff and continue, wherever possible, to enjoy the involvement of their loved ones.
